podPOINT Solo 3
Our most cost effective unit.
The Pod Point Solo 3 smart charger is designed for domestic residential purposes and comes as either tethered or socketed (Universal). The Solo 3 offers a variety of charging rates (3.6, 7 and 22 kW). The 22kW version will require a 3 phase power supply.
Auto Power Balancing adjusts the rate of charge to avoid overloading your electrical supply when your home is using a lot of energy.
The charging will return to the fastest rate automatically, once more power is available.
The Pod Point App available on IOS and Android gives you a single view of your charging at home and on the Pod Point Network (over 6200 charging bays). Automatic software updates via Wi-fi.

A solar EV charger works by allowing you to use excess solar to power up your car. Generating solar energy requires solar panels (PV) to be fitted to your home or place of work, but the energy generated through the solar panels is totally free, essentially giving you free miles!
If you don’t have a PV (solar panel) system, zappi can still operate like an ordinary electric car charging point, importing from the grid. You can always add your solar/wind system later.
Zappi has 3 charging modes: ECO, ECO+ and FAST
The eco settings allowing users to save on energy bills. The charging current is automatically and continually adjusted in response to on-site generation and household power consumption.
Set timers At certain hours ‘time of use energy tariffs’ are significantly cheaper. With zappi, you can use the ‘boost timer’ option to start charging at times with the lowest rates.
